What would an indentured servant "wage" really be?

They are housed, fed, clothed, utilities and the like. I say that runs 
way more then $12k/yr minimum wage, and most minimum wage workers would 
actually be better off as servants. This idea is not PC here in America, 
but seems to be just fine everywhere else, being a servant is considered 
a decent job most places, and "pays" well.

My theory is we don't have servants in the US because min wage and 
illegals are actually 2-3x cheaper. Paying a human more then 12k/year is 
either offensive, or just makes them feel too guilty.

Whatever this indenture servant wage is, it's way more (so is the 
"living wage") then a grad student makes.
