Ah, I see, you advocate religion as a means of controlling the stupid

Perhaps it's not a "lack" per se --- but rather a choice.  I have  
come to appreciate that choice in response to the apparently  
escalating frequency and magnitude of evil committed in the name of  
some "god" or another.  It's a rare one, but one that I now wish more  
people would make.
