BTW, let's give credit where credit is due.  This whole torrent might  
well have died off on its own had Paul Jimenez not pointed out (to  
me, in IM) Sateesh's response to Tom's Faith / Science zinger back on  
11/26.  At least, the whole weave would've been a bit lighter...
