Those bits are about 40 years old :-)
And: MAOIs are not commonly used today --
they were a good complement to the tricyclics
(for treating OCD and atypical depression, I believe)
but the SSRIs have filled that niche (as well of
course as taking over much of the tricyclics' niche).
Kramer has a good chapter that covers the history,
uses, and problems with the various antidepressants
in _Listening to Prozac_.
