None of the most popular P2P networks -- Classic Napster, Gnutella, 
FastTrack -- include any barriers against tracking the source and
destination of content transfers. 

These networks are inefficient, sure, but obfuscation is not a
reason.

Perhaps you were thinking of Freenet?
