OK, I have invitations to the party Oz Interactive is throwing at
Internet World Thursday night. These guys are doing VRML-avatar-chat
kind of stuff, and the party is co-sponsored by Intel. (Gotta love the
concept: who can we fund to chew up CPU cycles?)

All the founders of Oz are Icelandic and they're supposed to be able
to throw a hell of a party.

Even if you won't be in LA, I'd appreciate if Win95 and NT users would
download the Oz beta at www.oz.com and let me know what you think.
I'll be meeting with the company's founders and would like to have
something insightful to say to them (and heaven knows I can't come up
with anything by myself). They seem to have the best 3-D
collaborative environment around, but I'm just not sure that it's good
enough to be useful for anything.
