Hmmm.... this could really massively explode pager penetration. Lots of
occasional users would join in -- and unlike Cellular phones, standby paging
service (low-volume) is very low added-cost AND very low added-risk...

_Pager pays with new PageNet service

Reverse billing is coming to the paging business. Dallas-based Paging
Network, Inc. (PageNet) and Midwest telephone company Ameritech Corp.
announced today a new service that bills callers for paging someone, rather
than billing the person being paged. The service is meant to eliminate monthly
charges for those carrying the pagers. The service is currently being tested
in Chicago, Indianapolis and Detroit. A date hasn't been set for a nationwide
