I hope not. A lot of people, (including me), have put a lot of time to help
make sure Mozilla's Netscape 5.0 project is fully compliant with XML, DOM,
CSS-1, HTML 4.0 etc. But then again, I don't remember Andreessen being a
strong voice for NGLayout. As a matter of fact, it was Netscape engineers
who came to the Web Standards Project saying that there were rumblings in
Netscape Management that NGLayout wouldn't make the 5.0 browser.

It wasn't until WSP made some public noise about the problem that Netscape
did a 360. I'm sure other factors contributed to it but when we found out
they were sacrificing backwards compatibility in the NS DOM to be compliant
with the W3C DOM we were quite happy.
