directly tracable to the poorly specified and difficult to implement
protocols. In fact the only IrDA capable software initially available
to me was Tranxit, which doesn't use IrDA protocols at all! It
appears that only current hope for IrDA is the acceptance of
IrCOMM, a protocol that emulates serial ports for Windows95 so
that applications don't have to deal with the IrDA protocol stack."
