The Sony 505GX [2] fell through out of disgust for
their sales force and undue delays. I ordered a Dell, which will
be available September 9th. I am the very first order they
took on this machine configuration. They don't even tell
anyone they offer it yet.

I'll let everyone know how it works out, but
at 8.9 pounds, it'll really be a workout. Such
extremes, I went from a just enough power Sony
at 2.9 pounds to a powerhouse at 8.9. Go figure.
