Extending Web publishing tools to a broader audience, DataChannel
Tuesday announced "Push
Channel" authoring capability from Microsoft Word. While most
push-related tools require
knowledge of proprietary authoring, languages and/or programming
skills, ChannelManager
allows any Word user to easily publish a channel. DataChannel's XML
engine generates an XML
file automatically when the user clicks the "Publish to Channel" "Save
As" menu item within Word.
