This reminds me of a peculiar college experience that has stuck with me.
It was probably freshman year, because a sizable crew of us went around
together to the same courses, before specialization splintered our merry
band... We were waiting in a classroom for the TA to show and trying to
future out what kind of course had convened there in the last hour, and
what in God's name they had been studying. The blackboard contained only
the following; the rest had been carefully erased.
