I wrote about the KnowNow software on Scripting News today.

"At the same time, the Radio UserLand community is kicking butt. David
Davies is inching up to something I've wanted to work on since XML-RPC and
RSS came out (roughly a year apart, with XML-RPC coming first). Then Rohit
and Adam, the KnowNow guys, came over to demo their stuff and blew my socks
off. They've got a Web browser being a Web server. And it's not just
technical goodness, it's also got a killer app lurking inside. Notification.
It applies to what I want to do with Scripting News. I want to give you
software that mirrors my column in a window with news items that you can
expand and collapse, reorganize, copy and paste, to produce your own news
channels. And of course, I want that power to extend to anyone with a Manila
site, or a Blogger site too for that matter."

Since FoRK is the mail list of the friends of Rohit Khare, I wanted you all
to know that they have got me excited! I didn't know we could do the things
they already do. That it was made possible by SOAP makes it all the sweeter.

It's rare that you see work that redefines your work, and gives it new
meaning.

I thought it was important to say that here on this list.

The KnowNow people are kickin butt.

Dave
