Dear Sirs,
Recently I entered a query into your altavista search service. I was
looking for a quote from a software paper entitled "The Cobbler's
Barefoot Children".
I received back the appropriate links for the software paper, however,
I also received the following response copied below for your reference:
http://gbolcer.ics.uci.edu/media/av-query.html

In short, it responds "AltaVista knows the answers to these questions:"
and then lists further information about:
o What laws regulate sexual activity?
o Where can I read the text of the federal child pornography law?
o How do I report the presence of child pornography on the Internet
to the U.S. Customs Service?

Can you please show me what part of my search string: "Cobbler's
Barefoot Children"
contains references to child pornography? I find this association
distasteful
and reflects the biases of your search engine rather than the return of
appropriate content.
