Re: Expert witness (Internet, cookies, Eugenes, Branch Davidians)

I'm not a real doofus, but I play one at a national laboratory. (BAISLEY@fndcd.fnal.gov)

Oh, Lucy, I thin' you have some 'splainin' to do. I can' find the archibes.

I do hold the dubious distinction of perhaps being the FoRkist closest
to that land of grace. And I'm honored by the offer, but I fear it's an
insurmountable opportunity, not the least reason of which is that I know
next to nothing about cookies (I haven't even figured out how to disable
them in my browser -- I just get bunches of dialog boxes to cancel.
Pathetic). Also, I simply don't have the time, and, unless I'm mistaken,
witnesses tend to get paid for their actual time, um, witnessing, which
could be quite short, particularly compared with the time getting to the
Heartbreak Hotel and back, waiting for the wheels of justice to roll in
my expert direction, etc. If it were closer to home, it could be of some
interest.

Again, though, I appreciate being thought of. And any chance at net.fame
is worth a Forker's consideration.

Cheers,
Wayne
