Heh, that is perhaps exactly what happened by accident.
There is a chance that some voters in Palm Beach County, Fla.,
home of the funky ballot, did not see that they were voting for
Buchanan rather than Gore.

If this chart is any where close to correct (I do not know its
source....) it is apparent that something went awry in PBC.
