I Wanna Be Like Hype

Who are these people? You can't teach a person something they
don't know if they are convinced they already know it.[1] Poor little
Internet/Web doesn't live up to it's hype.

Indeed, while 71 percent of Internet users said the global computer
network solves more problems than it creates, only 24 percent on
non-users held that opinion. Yet even Internet users are somewhat
ambivalent about cyberspace. Half of all Internet users in the poll said
it
wasn't necessary to use the Internet in order to "keep up with the
times."
Some 57 percent of non-Internet users said the Net wasn't necessary.
