Unfortunately, all predictions show that software patents
are going to make up the majority of court cased in the next
decade. They are becoming a tool to protect people's
and company's legal rights and not necessarily to protect
intellectual property. I've been dealing with the university
software patent lawyer here for the past couple of months,
it looks bleak.
