Phillip de Kehrkove (sp?), the last I heard, was the director of
the McLuhan Institute, somewhere in Ontario. I spoke with him a
year ago, but haven't read his book. All accounts (2 of them) say
that the book is interesting, but a bit spacey - things like
"humans are treating the planet as art, taking pictures after
modifying it" etc.
