I also have IE5 installed, and find it pretty good, but generally,
I prefer the NS look and feel.
As for MS Apps... I think they're probably just as bad, maybe slightly
worse than average (but there are some real eye-openers out there
too!). The problem is that many, many people use them.
I continually find problems... recently I was trying to undo a large
number of changes, and Word couldn't find one of the temporary
files it was using. The result was a totally messed up document.
The thing which gets me more than anything else is the byzantine
development environment. So many layers, so many API's...
