Exactly. No one would trust printed tickets sold by scalpers and they would
be out of business very quickly, thus the problem is solved.

This does address the issue I've always had with Ticketmaster, Moviefone,
etc. (aside from lines). One person is typically buying for a group of
people, and there are all sorts of logistical problems when someone
(particularly the one who bought the tickets) arrives late.
