Gawd.. I haven't looked at that in a year or so. It reminded me a lot of
the Interpedia project, which was even broader. I caught that bug from
Jared Rhine, one of the visionaries behind a publically-created
encyclopedia, and that's where I learned about metadata, Seals of Approval,
collaborative filtering, and so on. Dan Kohn was involved in this community
too -- even offered to host it, before interpedia fell victim to the usual
Internet Organization Syndrome -- lack thereof. IOS is currently afflicting
Apache, no, Robert?
