XeNT is dying...

XeNT has not adjusted well to my new office. Ever since that move, it's
been complaining about spurious DMA interrupts, with an MTBF of barely an
hour, it seems. Cooling it directly upon the a/c isn't helping, so I'm
despairing for ideas to save it...

The best I can see is a $50 new motherboard from
http://www.deepspacetech.com/Nexthardware.html
Or, a new Pyro at 50MHz -- a futile gesture if ever there was.

Long live xent!

PS. The blindingly obvious practical consequence is that my home page, FoRK
list, and FoRK archives will generally crash whenever I leave the office.
Next week, I'll probably have to give in and rechristen the MIT-owned HP on
my desk as the New XeNT.
