Of the 18 or so respondents, all save mail to some extent or another.
About half save everything both ways, most of the rest save most of what
comes in, and one saves everything that goes out and some of what comes
in. The consensus is that disks are cheap, so there's no reason not
to...

Bottom Line: Save your mail. Everybody else does. :-)

Thanks to all who wrote!

John

P.S. If anybody has a good way to deal with lots and lots of email,
from various sources (i.e. some mbox-style, some MH-style, some
whatever), I'd love to hear about it.
