He's the executive of a large corporation.

Large corporations routinely make deals with other large corporations
which limit individual freedom.

It's not hard to imagine a large corporation (like Sony) making deals with
other large corporations (like @Home or America Online) to filter traffic.

Does your country have any laws (and anyone willing to enforce them) to
prevent it?
