Are you referring to this protocol:

What are the other general-purpose distributed computing projects,
besides the Napster file-sharing model, that have found this
protocol useful?

Earlier, you mentioned "lots of servers deployed doing cool
stuff" with this protocol. Are these anywhere I can try them
out? Do I use the official Napster client or something else?
