I have only the deepest respect for a good red-eyed foaming rant, but I
can't go on this one with you. JN's message has yet to penetrate the
masses of software makers. It is the One True Message:

Computers are for users. Programmers work for users. Businesses prosper
if they serve the users. Designers do good IFF they ... users users
users users users.

People who hate Neilsen, in my humble opinion, generally confuse the cruft
about inverted-L web pages, color schemes, etc., with the core idea.
