Try http://supercomputer.org/ (Beowulf list archives there) and

ALINKA Linux Clustering Letter is quite good, but too new to be of
much help yet. Subscribe to the Beowulf list, and ask there. Help will
arrive instanter.

What is the type of networking you're looking at? I presume it will be
a bottleneck in your case, which will most likely limit you to crypto
cracking shenanigans, and rendering pvmpov.

If you have fat pipes (fully switched FastEthernet) between all your
machines, things can become more interesting.
