There's nothing urgent here.

Settle down Rohit. The house isn't on fire. Nobody's life is at
stake. Etiquette is just that: trivial conventions about politeness.
Perhaps it should be called petty-quette.

The maxim that "you should never ever post even the slightest quote
from private email to anybody" is bullshit that has bugged me since I
first heard of it eight or ten years ago.

So some fevered minds go over the top quoting netiquette like it was
scripture or the law of the land. Fuck that. Some stuff is fine to
forward, some isn't. Use your judgement, use discretion, just as you
would with normal conversation. Simple as that.

There was no big secret in what you quoted from Tim so there's no
problem. Quit over-acting.
