The only thing I hate worse than domestic bureaucracies is
them dang furrin ones. I already think the EU has too
much say in the internal workings of US business. To wit:
the EU balking at the merger of Boeing and McDonnel Douglas.
Also, last year they fined one of the Silicon Valley software
companies last year for not correctly 'alterting' them about
their intended merger even though they would have approved.
(I thought I posted this to FoRK, and was going to include
the reference, but can't seem to find it anywhere. Anyone
want to have a search engine discussion again?)
